Fire Alarm System Design

This course will focus on review of BC building code (fire alarm portion) and ULC fire alarm standards and identify if a fire alarm system is required for a building project, if required, what type of fire alarm system will be needed. Interfaces between a fire alarm system and other mechanical/electrical systems will be discussed. Coordination with fire alarm Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and fire alarm system inspection and verification will be part of this course too.
